Salinas to Santa Barbra Day3 Learning

Well I thought I had published a post about day 3 but it appears to have disappeared into the ether. So I will try to reproduce it.

The third day of the Salinas to Santa Barbara ride was amazing, I am so fortunate to have these days of beautiful riding.

Top of second big climb

Day three was the biggest day of the trip 64 miles with 4800 feet of climbing. Roads were great until I got near Paso then there was a lot of traffic driving really fast. Got a great room, it was a throw back to the 70s I don't mean a 70s themed room but a room that feels like a hotel you would have stayed at in the 70s, even had a key.
