Getting ready

Well after about ten years of talk and dreams we are on our way to making our BIG trip!

So far we have already decided on Visa type and how we will start our trip.

For the Visa we are applying for French long stay Visas. We looked into a handful of different Visas and decided that the French long stay fit our needs and wants best. If anyone has specific questions about this send an email to mike@mikeandkimbiking.org and I will write a post to discuss our process.

Do to the long stay Visa process we will actually be starting in Southern France once our Visas are issued we are heading up to the Southern coast of Norway and riding north from there. Not much in the planning department just really want to ride the Atlantic coast of Norway.

Things we are working on are renting our house and getting all of our gear sorted out (bikes and the such). We have six months but that will be gone in a flash.
